This factory-cast aluminum case is correct for FL, FLH, and FX models with the 1200cc Shovelhead motor. This is a great candidate for a builder or restorer — a small corner near one of the head stud bosses has been partially repaired and needs finishing (see images). The structural repair was started with welding and will need to be completed and dressed. No signs of major damage elsewhere. Threads and mating surfaces appear restorable. This case does not display a motor number or identification stamp in the usual area — ideal for custom or replacement builds. Sold as shown for parts or repair. Factory balance holes are visible. Bearings, shafts, and tapers appear serviceable but should be inspected before reuse.
