Very rare Mid-USA custom Softail wide tire frame designed for Twin Cam applications. This is an original Mid-USA piece that is no longer produced and not available new anywhere.
This frame has never been built into a motorcycle — no motor has ever been mounted, no transmission installed, and it has never been ridden or wrecked. It has simply been moved from shop to shop over the years and stored, which explains the cosmetic wear.
The tubing layout and welds are unique to this early Mid-USA design and differ from later-production frames. This makes it especially desirable for high-end custom builds or collectors looking for discontinued parts.
The frame does show chrome acne and paint wear from storage and handling. It will need cosmetic touch-up, but it is structurally intact and complete as shown in the photos.
This frame has its own VIN number, making it suitable for registration depending on your state requirements.
