This is a knee grip plate / heat guard cover for the 1985–2007 Yamaha VMAX 1200 (VMX12), designed to protect the rider from heat while also providing a finished OEM-style look on the side of the bike.


These covers mount along the side area near the rider’s knees and help act as a shield from engine/exhaust heat while improving comfort and appearance. Perfect for replacing a cracked, missing, or damaged cover on a restoration build or daily rider.
