  • Professional Bench Prep: This assembly will be fully prepped, degreased, and thoroughly cleaned before shipment. All degraded orange gasket liner residue visible in the photos will be meticulously scraped and cleared away. The unit will arrive at your workbench completely clean and ready for immediate deployment.
  • Starter Actuator Mechanical Function: The starter actuator mechanism is mechanically fully functional, smoothly engaging in and out under manual bench testing.
  • Rubber Boot Condition: The external rubber protective boot on the starter assembly is currently ripped/torn. Due to this tear, the next owner will likely want to go through the boot assembly during final setup.
  • Platform Fitment Bounds: Direct performance factory plug-and-play drop-in maintenance replacement or custom chopper drivetrain safety overhaul core designed explicitly for standard left-side engine configurations on classic 1970 to early 1984 carburetor-equipped Harley-Davidson Shovelhead Big Twin models:
