This is a used, clean V-Twin Manufacturing early-style 5-speed transmission mainshaft 5th gear (Main Drive Gear), engineered strictly for initial-generation chain final drive Big Twin platforms spanning 1979 to 1984. Exhibiting a distinct flat matte silver steel look with no surface shine, this durable aftermarket gear serves as a direct alternative matching original factory dimensions for part number 35028-79. The component has been thoroughly cleaned, scrubbed, and inspected under clear lighting. The main drive gear teeth faces show a uniform operating mesh pattern completely free of localized drive shearing, deep stress pitting, or micro-cracks.
