Correct for mid-century Big Twin and Flathead mechanical cable perches, this vintage survivor part features the classic weighted ball-tip end design engineered for historical rider safety and period-correct aesthetics.
Condition Details & Technical Parameters:
  • Structural Integrity: The lever arm body is remarkably straight and entirely free of stress cracks, fractures, or weld patches.
  • Pivot Interface: The main pivot-pin cylinder hole and cable barrel anchor socket retain tight, round tolerances without wallowing or oval distortion.
  • Cosmetic State: Displays a beautiful, original aged patina. The cast aluminum surfaces show typical minor handling scuffs, surface micro-pitting, and faint oxidation from decades of storage. It has not been modern-buffed or modified, preserving its original historical texture.
  • Inventory Note: Item was recovered with vintage paper wrap around the main shank to prevent metal-on-metal rubbing while tucked away in an estate storage bin. Sold exactly as pictured.
