Description

Unlike standard factory raw cast aluminum plugs that oxidize, pit, and easily leak fluid from thermal fatigue, these heavy-duty accent covers feature a dense structural alloy baseline blanketed in a deep mirror-chrome finish. Designed to cap the exposed horizontal camshaft ends on early liquid-cooled flat-four Boxer powertrains, this custom upgrade distributes mechanical sealing pressure uniformly across the cylinder head side openings. This mechanical configuration prevents oil weeping, shielding your lower engine case from baked-on oil varnish while protecting your powertrain from sudden pressure drops and messy fluid leaks on the road.
